Positive points
- Wing clearly focused on performance, designed for a VX / freerace program.
- 2026 version very well received, the presentation video generated a lot of positive reactions.
- Pure white design seen as classy and clean, matching its performance-oriented positioning.
- Wing is easy to identify on the water, with a strong identity distinct from the V4 Pro.
Areas for improvement
- Very performance-oriented positioning, less focused on all-round surf use than the V4 Pro.
- Limited color range, some riders would like blue/orange-style variants.

The Takoon VX Pro V2 is a freeride-performance and freerace-oriented wing, offering an excellent balance between strong acceleration and surfing capabilities. Extremely smooth in maneuvers (tacks are effortless), the biggest upgrade of this V2 lies in its free-fly behavior: it gains massive neutrality and stability while surfing compared to the previous version. Built with durable materials (UPE Project and 86g Aerotech canopy across the entire surface), it sits at an excellent price point, ranging from €809 to €1009 (depending on size, accessories excluded) thanks to Takoon's direct-to-consumer model.
