The Takoon Cloud is a high-end, lightweight parawing. Built with premium materials (Skytex 32g for the canopy and 40g for the structure), it offers smooth glide, excellent upwind performance, and stable flight even in light conditions. Available in 5 sizes and priced between €429 and €549, it stands out for its easy handling and intuitive folding. However, the bar ergonomics and line length could still be improved.

Highlights

• Premium materials: ultralight Skytex fabric for refined and efficient flight.
• Flight behavior: excellent glide, stays aloft perfectly even in light or gusty wind.
• Handling: very little inertia in maneuvers (jibes) thanks to its low weight (700g with bar for the 4m).
• Safe: excellent depower, the wing doesn’t collapse unexpectedly in strong wind.
• Easy packing: folds easily in one armful ("packing"), the thin fabric packs effortlessly even when wet.
• Upwind performance: very efficient angle without requiring a harness.

To improve

• Bar ergonomics: slightly large diameter, basic grip, and rigidity points (PVC tubes) at the line starts.
• Slightly long lines: measured at 1.70m on the 4m; they could be a bit shorter.
• High-end range: already very good, but could still progress further.
